How do we start working with you?

Book a 30-minute intro call or send the contact form. On the call we scope the problem, the constraints, and the deadline you are actually working to. Within a few business days you get a written outline: the proposed approach, the engagement model that fits, a rough timeline, and what we would need from your side. Nothing is billable until that outline is agreed.

What engagement models do you offer?

Accepted Answer

Three. Fixed price for well-defined launches, where scope and milestones are agreed up front. Dedicated team, where a senior squad works inside your process on a monthly basis. Advisory, where we review architecture, delivery, or security and hand back a decision document. Most clients start fixed price and move to a dedicated team once the roadmap outgrows a single scope.

Can you extend our existing engineering team?

Yes — that is the dedicated team model. Engineers join your standups, your repository, and your review process, and report progress the way your own team does. We staff senior only, we do not rotate people off a project mid-stream, and you can scale the squad down at the end of any monthly cycle.

How do you communicate, and in which time zone?

We work on Central European Time with a deliberate overlap into US business hours. Day-to-day communication happens in your channel of choice — Slack, Teams, or email — plus a weekly demo of working software rather than a status slide. You get a named engineer to talk to, not an account manager relaying messages.

How much does a project cost?

There is no rate card, because the honest number depends on scope. What we can commit to is how the number is produced: after the intro call you get a written estimate broken down by milestone, with the assumptions behind each one stated. If an assumption turns out wrong mid-project we say so before the work happens, not on the invoice.

How long does a typical project take?

A focused MVP or a well-scoped module usually reaches production in six to twelve weeks. Platform work — modernization, migrations, reliability programs — runs in quarters and ships incrementally, so something measurable is live long before the whole thing is done. We do not quote a timeline before we understand the constraint that actually drives it.

Do you take on small projects or audits?

Yes, under the advisory model. A bounded architecture, performance, or security review is a common first engagement — it is low risk for you and it tells us whether we are the right team for the larger problem. The deliverable is a written document with prioritized findings, not a call and a verbal opinion.

What technologies do you work with?

Accepted Answer

TypeScript, React and Next.js on the front end; Node and Go on the back end; Postgres and Redis for data; AWS, Azure or GCP with Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes for infrastructure. On the AI side: retrieval pipelines over pgvector, agentic workflows, and evaluation harnesses so model behaviour is measured rather than assumed. We pick the boring option unless the problem earns something else.

What does your delivery process look like?

Discover, Design, Build, Launch, Iterate — with a measurable checkpoint at each boundary. In practice that means typed contracts before implementation, incremental releases with a rollback path, performance budgets and accessibility gates in CI, and observability shipped with the feature rather than added after the first incident.

Can you work with our legacy codebase?

Yes — modernization is one of our five service lines. We favour the strangler pattern: new capability goes into clean boundaries alongside the old system, traffic moves across in slices, and the legacy path is retired only once the replacement has carried production load. No big-bang rewrites, because those are where deadlines go to die.

What happens after launch?

Every engagement ends with a handover the receiving team can actually use: architecture notes, runbooks, dashboards, and a walkthrough with your engineers. From there you can take it in-house, keep us on a support retainer with an agreed response window, or continue with a dedicated team. We do not make the handover deliberately hard in order to keep you.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes, before any detail of your product is discussed. We are equally happy to sign your paper or provide ours. Nothing about a client engagement appears on this site, in a case study, or in a conversation with anyone else without written permission.

Question 13

Who owns the code you write?

Accepted Answer

You do. Intellectual property in everything built for your engagement transfers to you on payment, including the infrastructure definitions and the documentation. The only exception is general-purpose open source we publish separately and license to everyone, which never contains client-specific logic.

Question 14

How do you handle security and compliance?

Accepted Answer

Least-privilege access to your systems, secrets kept in your vault rather than ours, dependency and container scanning in CI, and a security review before anything reaches production. Where GDPR or a sector regime applies we design for it from the first architecture session — data residency, retention, and audit trails are cheaper to build in than to retrofit.
